The Durban University of Technology in South Africa typically opens its application process in July and extends into November 30th for the majority of undergraduate and graduate programs. As various programs may have different application dates, it is vital to note that you should always check the official DUT website or get in touch with the university directly for complete details.
The closing date for the 2025 DUT Online Application is 30 November 2024. To apply, you will need to visit the DUT website and complete the online application form. You will also need to submit the required documents and pay the application fee through the Central Application Office, CAO.
The DUT does not accept late applications. If you miss the deadline, you will need to apply for the next available intake. You will not be able to upload any supporting documents after the deadline. The application fee is also non-refundable if you fail to upload the rest of the supporting documents before the closing dates.
The DUT application requirements vary depending on the program you are applying for. Generally, you will need to provide proof of your academic qualifications, a copy of your ID, a copy of your matric certificate, a copy of your CV, and a motivation letter. You may also need to provide additional documents such as a portfolio, a letter of recommendation, or a medical certificate.
All DUT undergraduate applicants, including new and returning, must submit their applications using the CAO application portal between April 1 and November 30, 2024, by following the guidelines provided below.
A non-refundable application fee must be included with every application, which must be submitted via the application forms (available from the International School Office or downloaded from the website: www.dut.ac.za). Applications must be submitted by the early bird deadline of February 22, 2024, and the late deadline of April 25, 2025.
